Yesterday, Samsung Canada held its Galaxy S III phone launch in three cities: Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.

While the Montreal audience was treated to a performance by the Sam Roberts Band, and Toronto’s to New York’s Cobra Starship, Vancouverites got a taste of Down With Webster, a very hot hip-hop band from Toronto.

Every Vancouver cell phone company will carry and support the Galaxy S III: Telus, Bell, Rogers, WIND, Mobilicity and Virgin Mobile. The unit is apparently in hot demand (much like Down With Webster); over nine million pre-orders have poured in since its announcement.

Here’s a look at the evening in photos. From acrobats to hula-hoops, violinists, dancers, and drummers, the star of the show was the new Galaxy S III.
